McLEAN, both dec'd; d. 10:15 pm cod inflamation of lungs, 42 days, inf son George FAIRBAIRN, 116 Roxburgh St, Kelso, reg. Kelso Dec 29th (NB mother's name is assumed to be incorrect, both because of the baptism in Kelso that says James' mother was Helen McLEAN - which is supported by the naming pattern of James and Euphemia's children) ^[2][3]
