LETHBRIDGE, Jan 23 [1946]. --Fatally injured while horseback riding Sunday morning, Judge L. E. Fairbairn, 47, died in hospital here today. He had not regained consciousness after the accident in which he was thrown from his horse and suffered a fracture of the base of the skull. Judge Fairbairn was appointed to the Southern Alberta district court last April, succeeding Judge C. J. Ford of Calgary, who was then elevated to the trial division of the Alberta Supreme court.[5][6]

Fairbairn-1648 and Fairbairn-222 appear to represent the same person because: Same DOB, DOD. For some reason, a match didn't appear when I began the profile. The profiles for his daughter, Joyce, will also need to be merged. Her profile should be open now because she's a notable and died in 2022. Thanks.
