Alfred Emmott is Notable.
Alfred Emmott was born in Oldham, Lancashire on 8 May 1858. [1]
He married Mary Gertrude Lees on 5 October 1887 in the Northwich district of Cheshire [2]
Alfred was elected MP for Oldham, from 1899 until 1911, and became Baron Emmott in 1911.
Alfred died suddenly at his home in London on 13 December 1926, aged 68 [3] . He was buried in Hanwell cemetery. [4]
