Biography
From Ginny Marr's Notes: After marriage, Sarah and Michael moved to Middle Smithfield Township. The area failed as a farming community and many who settled there moved elsewhere. As a result, most church records are poorly kept and many small cemeteries are hidden under dense bush or have disappeared, forever leaving gaps in Sarah's biography. We do Michael Smith was a miller, that Sarah, her daughter moved to Ohio; and that Sarah was still living in 1820, appearing on the census that year, and she died prior to Michael's death in 1825.
We assume her death before 1825 because she is not mention in her husband's 1825 will.
