Jane Eden, aged 19, married 24 year old Thomas Haynes at St Peter's, Hook Norton, Oxfordshire on 5 February 1871. [2] The register notes that Thomas was a labourer living in Duns Tew and the son of Thomas, also a labourer whilst Jane was living in Hook Norton. No details are recorded for Jane's father. Neither Thomas nor Jane had been previously married. Witnesses to the marriage were Thomas Luckett and Sarah Ann Luckett. [3]
