Note N3276 Note: One part of the Familysearch website and also the Darley/Thirkell book give completely different people as the parents of Elizabeth Dunn (wife of Thomas Darley). They show an Elizabeth Dunn born to Richard and Mary Dunn in Stoke Damerel, Devon. However, multiple census records clearly show her birthplace as Northam, which is not near Stoke Damerel. Therefore, the birth in 1799 in Northam, Devon, to Henry and Elizabeth Dunn appears to be the correct information.

K. (Martin) Dixit
His christening on 2 Mar 1763 in chr. at Bideford, Devon, England and his reported parents, Benjamin Dunn (Donn) and Mary Ann Wilcocks, are uncertain. I can't find any actual birth records for him, and in fact can't even find his marriage record. The sources so far are just the Ancestral File and the International Genealogical Index, made up of information submitted by other individuals, from uncertain sources.

If anyone has proper sources for his marriage or his birth, I think his parents could also be added, but I don't feel comfortable adding them without real sources. If his real parents, they are likely to be the mathematician Benjamin Donn and his wife Mary Ann.
