William was born about 1834. He was the son of William Duncan and Margaret Taylor. He passed away about 1865.
Duncan, William Paschal, joined the Battalion Staff as Captain and Assistant Quarter Master on November 15, 1863, He went on Medical Furlough beginning December 19, 1863, and did not return to the unit. He was relieved of duty by Paragraph XVII, Special Order No. 92, A&IGO, on April 20, 1864. (page 342)
