Phyllis Isabella Dudgeon was born 1st February 1914, in Lismore, New South Wales, Australia, the sixth child of Thomas Dudgeon and Isabella Heron.^[1]

Phyllis Isabella Dudgeon died aged 39, on 27th November 1953 in Lismore, New South Wales, Australia & was laid to rest at the Dunoon Cemetery, Dunoon, New South Wales, Australia 28th November 1953.^[2][3]

OBITUARY. MISS P. I. DUDGEON

After a long illness, the death occurred in Lismore yesterday morning, of Miss Phyllis Isabella Dudgeon, aged 39 years, daughter of Mrs. Isabella Dudgeon, of Keerrong, and the late Thomas Henry Dudgeon. Born in Lismore, Miss Dudgeon had lived most of her life at Keerrong, but had been residing in Lismore for the past 18 months. In addition to her mother, four brothers, Messrs. Hugh Dudgeon (Dunoon Road), Thomas, James and Arthur Dudgeon (Keerrong), and four sisters, Mrs. C. Gibson (Lismore), Mrs. W. Osborne (The Channon), Mrs. A. Campbell (Goolmangar) and Miss Lily Dudgeon, (Keerrong) survive her. Her funeral will leave the Lismore Methodist Church today after a service commencing at 11 a.m. for the Dunoon cemetery.^[4]

OBITUARY. MISS P. I. DUDGEON

There was a large attendance at the funeral on Saturday morning of Miss Phyllis Isabella Dudgeon, of 85 Ballina Street, Lismore, a former well known Keerrong resident, who died in Lismore on Friday. She was a daughter of Mrs. Isabella Dudgeon, of Keerrong. A service was conducted in the Lismore Methodist Church by Rev. C. J. Wells, of Lismore, and Rev. Stanley Allen, of Dunoon. Miss Dudgeon was buried in the Dunoon cemetery, where Mr. Allan officiated. Pall-bearers at the church were Messrs. Hugh, Thomas, James and Arthur Dudgeon (brothers), A. Campbell and W. Osborne (brothers-in-law), and at the cemetery they were Messrs. Fred Dudgeon (cousin), John Campbell (nephew), H. Dunn, Keith, Ron and Thomas Dudgeon (brother). The funeral arrangements were carried out by Will Riley & Son.^[5]
