Married in 1902 Anne Elizabeth Reilly. Recorded in the 1901 census as living with her parents in Scarva House, Scarva, Co. Down and being 32 years old.
Student at Cambridge (Trinity college) from 1869 where he is recorded as having attended lectures by James Clerk Maxwell in 1871, graduated Mathematical Tripos as 22nd wrangler in 1873.
Mathematics master at Marlborough College 1873-1909
Retired to Colleton crescent Exeter.
