Biography

parents - Benjamin Doughty & Caroline

Note : the children of Benjamin and Caroline Doughty were re- baptised together on the 6th August 1825 in the parish of Clenchwater, Norfolk - Elizabeth, Caroline aged 10 years, Maria aged 8 years, Sarah aged 6 years, Harriet aged 4 years, Ann aged 14 years - this second, group baptism record creates duplicated baptism records for the children which may appear as incorrect birth dates in some family genealogies. This record in the parish of Clenchwarton, Norfolk, England should be understood rather as the whole family being introduced into a new parish.
