Research notes
Which Isaac Dawe is which?
Some trees claim this Isaac as the one marrying Elizabeth Staddon and emigrating to Tasmania.
They are of an age, cousins, and even appear together in the 1841 census.
However the Isaac , son of Nathanial and Thomasin, was born in Doddicombeleigh and died in 1849.
Isaac, son of Nathanial's brother Isaac, is in the 1851 census, with his wife Elizabeth and shows, correctly, that he was born Tavistock.
