only two William DAW(E) / Sarah marriages obvious in Devon or Cornwall (t'other was 1839 to Sarah LUCKS, which is after the births of the youngest children)
however a flaw in that assumption is that the new GRO online index shows that the mother's name for both Mary Jane (b. 1847) and Charles (b. 1850) is MARCH Henderson-2297 23:21, 1 December 2016 (EST)

This looks like a different family for your Charles Hancock DAWE.
There are two Charles DAWE birth registrations in the Dec qtr of 1850;
The Charles you show as son of a William born 1811 Meavy (other census data shows 1802 thru 1812, Plymouth) which William married a Sarah, initially thought to probably be Sarah POMEROY, now shown as MARCH in birth indexes, in 1834. This Charles died aged 1 and is buried Plymouth St Andrew, dying Kinterbury St, which is where William & Sarah were in 1851, William a labourer.
and Charles Hancock DAWE, son of William Thomas DAWE born abt 1827 Devonport, married to Elizabeth HANCOCK Oct 1848 Stoke Damerel
1851 shows William Thomas as a draper, which occ. son Charles also followed.
