Biography
William was born in 1740. He was the son of Hill Dawe (1704-1769) and Susannah Moore. He was baptised on 2 December 1740 at Ditcheat, Somerset, England. [1][2]
William married Susannah Hawley Nelson on 23 November 1762 at St Peter's Cathedral, Exeter, Devon. [3][4]

- Susannah Hawley, b. 1763 married James Clarke, of Ansford, Somerset, England on 17 February 1783 at Ditcheat, Somerset, England.
- Sophia, b. 1765, baptised on 12 June 1774, married Andrew Christie, M.D. and died 1820.
- Mary Selwyn, died an infant.
He died in 1772 and was buried in St Mary Magdalene Churchyard Ditcheat, Somerset, England. [5]
