Grace was born in Symondsbury, Dorset, England. When Grace was 3 and her parents were 42 and 40 they were working as Agricultural Labourers.[1]

Grace, daughter of Christopher Daw & Sarah Crabb, was christened on 4 April 1858 in Symondsbury, Dorset, England.[2][3]

In the 1871 census Grace A Daw (age 12) was the daughter of Christopher G Daw in Upway, Dorset, England.[4]
