Biography

Christian Daw, [1] daughter of James Daw and Jenny Woodford, [2] was born in about 1791 in Mottistone, Isle of Wight. [2] [3] She was baptised on 27 March 1791 in Mottistone, Isle of Wight. [2] She married Henry Taylor on 13 October 1807 in Shalfleet, Isle of Wight. [1] She died on 23 October 1846 in the Lunatic Asylum, Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight. [4] [5] Cause: Diarrhoea. [4] She was buried on 28 October 1846 at All Saints church, Freshwater, Isle of Wight. [6]

Inquest
Inquest report in Hampshire Telegraph dated 24 October 1846:
On Friday afternoon, a Coroner's inquest was held at the Union, by W. Norris, Esq., on view of the body of Christian Taylor, a lunatic. Verdict, visitation of God. [7]
