Research Notes
Regarding her birth date, it may have been as late as 22 Feb 1757, which is shown on FamilySearch, but without a source. Given that her parents married in Beaufort County, the same place which her father died, her birth location may have been Beaufort County. We need a proof of birth date and location to be able to say to a certainty.
Her death date should probably be closer to 1848, as is shown on FamilySearch, but a source is needed.
A Slave Schedule for 1850 shows D Brinson as well as Daniel Brinson among the Names of Slave Owners, Slave Inhabitants in Craven County, on the same page, which might require further examination. The entry for D Brinson has a notation that is undecipherable. Note, however, that in her husband's 1790 census record, no slaves were present.
