Richard was born in June 1919 in Gateshead, Durham. He was the son of Robert Cassels Davidson and Margaret Ellen (Smith) Davidson.[1]

Margreet, don't worry, I'll get proper sources on here eventually with links etc to free ones where possible. I just used the WikiTree AGC extension (WikiTree Automatic GEDCOM Cleanup) and the Auto Bio extension to clean out the nasty S1, S2, guff that the Ancestry gedcom export adds. Makes it much cleaner and easier to see where refs are linked to in the bio text.
