Samuel married Hannah Osgood (1785 - 1806) on 29 Jul 1805 in Blue Hill, Hancock, Massachusetts.

Samuel married Polly Jellison (~1792 - 1871) on 20 Nov 1841 in Patten, Penobscot, Maine.

Samuel died on 11 Jun 1859 in Patten, Penobscot, Maine aged 77. He was buried in Patten Cemetery, Patten.
