Biography
Benjamin was born in 1767. He was the son of Benjamin Dammon and Lydia Hall.
He married Sarah Stetson Lapham on 9 October 1791 in Plymouth.[1]
He passed away in 1793.
Probate
Benjamin Damon, Jr., of Marshfield, mariner died intestate and on 29 June 1793, his widow Sarah was granted the administration of his estate.[2]
His inventory was taken on 31 July 1793 in Marshfield. The estate was represented as insolvent. A list of claims and creditors was recorded. An account by his widow Sarah S. Damon was recorded which included the sale of real estate, doctors in his last sickness, funeral charges, taxes, necessaries to the widow, and administration fees. The balance was proportioned to pay the creditors.[3]
