Rose was born 16th January 1879[1][2] in Lee, Kent, England[3]. She is the daughter of William Curnick and Emma Morgan.

Rose Lavinia married Sydney Marshall COOPER in 1914 in London, England[4].

Rose's husband died 26th May 1915 in Simonstown, Capetown, South Africa.[5]

Rose was resident at 3 Waite Davis Road, Lewisham, London in 1939, living with her adopted brother William S. BUNTING, brother Albert J. CURNICK & sister-in-law Sarah J. CURNICK[1]


Rose Lavinia COOPER, aged 96 years, a widow of 3 Waite Davis Road, Lee, London, England died 19th June 1975 and was cremated at Hither Green Cemetery & Crematorium and ashes were scattered 18th June 1975 in section H3L. The Cremation was applied for by her nephew James Alexander PATERSON {husband of niece Rose Florence LAVELL} of 92 The Woodlands, Hither Green, Lewisham, London, England.[6]

Lee was part of the County of Kent until 1889, when it became part of London [9]. However many residents continued to consider and record Lee as being in Kent long after the change in 1889.
