Frederick crossed the border into the United States in 1916 and settled in Chouteau, Montana. His brother James was also settled there. [2]
He registered for the WWI Draft of 1917-1918. At the time he was employed as a Farmer with the Chouteau Butter Factory. [3] Frederick also registered for the WWII Draft and gave the name Fred Blyth, Postmaster at Geraldine as his nearest contact. [4]
Frederick Watt Crawford died in 1961 aged 77 and is buried at Geraldine Cemetery, Geraldine, Chouteau County, Montana.
