Hal Ogden Courts was born on 23 Sep. 1898.^[1] Hal was the child of Samuel Courts and Claudie Gentz.

The 1910 U.S. Census lists Hal at 12 years of age living with his parents and five other siblings in Beaumont Ward 3, Jefferson County, Texas.^[2]

He married Lirline Goode on 15 Nov. 1924 at Jefferson County, Texas.^[3]

Hal passed away August 15, 1993 and was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and linke to those of family members.^[4]
