Biography
1848 - Martha Cottier was born in early 1848 in Lezayre, Isle Of Man. She was baptised on the 16 Mar 1848 in the Lezayre Parish in the Isle of Man[1]. She was the first of probably four children of Robert Cottier and Jane Cowle.
1851 - Martha was 3 and living with her parents and sister in the UK Census on Sun 30 Mar 1851 at Old Sulby in Lezayre, Isle of Man[2].

1923 - Martha (Cottier) Patterson died on 22 Aug 1923 at 46 Spofforth Road in Edge Hill, Liverpool, Lancashire. Her death was registered in the 3rd qtr in the West Derby district of Lancashire[12]. She was buried on 25 Aug 1923 at Toxteth Park Cemetery in Liverpool, where she would later be joined by her husband[13]. Her estate passed into administration on 11 Sep at Liverpool in favour of her husband William with a value of £120[14].
