I'm desperately looking for my father's ancestors. His great grandfather to be exact. Thomas Cooper b. abt1815 in NC. He married Mary Henrietta Cromeans in April of 1868 in Itawamba, MS. They had Joseph Samuel Cooper (1876-1958) and Martha A Cooper. I have come a long way in Mary's tree but I cant find Thomas. One census said his father was born in MD. That's all I've found. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
