Biography

Margaret, daughter of Cornelius Class and Margaret Mowat, was born on 1 May 1872 in Latheron, Caithness, Scotland.^[1][2]

In the 1881 census Margaret (age 8), Scholar, was in Smerlie, Latheron, Caithness.^[3]

In the 1891 census Maggie (age 18), Crofters Daur, was the daur (daughter) of Cornelious Class in Smerly House, Estate of Lybster, Latheron, Caithness.^[4]

In the 1901 census Margaret (age 27), Servant (domestic), was the servant of Neil Campbell in Ravelston Pk No 11, Edinburgh Dean, Midlothian.^[5]

Margaret's marriage to Alexander Strat Walker was registered in 1911 in the Shotts (Eastern District) district.^[6]

They came to the United States in 1921.
