Sarah was born Sarah Margaret Clare on the 24th of February, 1898, at Blacks, Otago, New Zealand, the 10th of 10 children of John Robert "Jack" Clare and Elizabeth Ann Hamilton.[1]
At 22, in 1920, probably at Otematata, New Zealand, she married Roualeyn Gordon Cumming Munro, and they had 5 children.[2]
At 40, in 1938, she was living with her family at Otematata in the Waitaki Valley, Canterbury.[3]
At 41, on the 14th of July 1939, Roualeyn died at Oamaru and was buried in the Kurow Cemetery, Kurow, Waitaki Valley, North Otago.[4]
At 47, on the 24th of June, 1945, she died in Oamaru, and was buried in the Kurow Cemetery, at Kurow, Waitaki Valley, North Otago.[5]
