Research Notes

Given a small, but growing, selection of distant DNA matches to descendants of James Christall and Janet Baird it is possible that Elizabeth might belong to them.

They married at Kippen in 1730 and the last documented child in the OPRs is John baptized 1751.

Certainly the naming pattern of David and Elizabeth's children indicate a James and a Janet may be a profitable line of inquiry for her parents.

I would be very interested in hearing from any direct female line descendant of Elizabeth's who would be willing to help test out a theory that she just might be a direct maternal ancestor of my Amelia (Millar) Henderson (A direct maternal line descendant of Ameilia has the mtDNA haplogroup of T2e).
