Biography
James Harvey Chisholm was born on July 7, 1827 in Portapique, Colchester, Nova Scotia, Canada, son of Daniel Chisholm (1807–1870) and Nancy Agnes McElman (~1805–1880).

James (42) married Mary Jane Fulmore (18) (born on November 9, 1851 in Nova Scotia; daughter of John Copeland Fulmore and Sylvia Spear (Alcorn) Fulmore) on February 1, 1870 in Londonderry, Colchester.[1] Their known children were:

- Ella May Chisholm (1873–1925)
