Biography

Jane, daughter of Geo Chisholm & Jane Chisholm, was baptised on 20 February 1788 ^[1] and on 12 June 1790 ^[2] in Blandford Forum, Dorset, England.

In the 1841 census Jane (age 50) was in Hammersmith, Middlesex, England with her brother George.^[3]

In the 1851 census Jane (age 63), Fund Holder, was the unmarried sister of George Chisholm in Hammersmith, Middlesex, England.^[4]

In the 1861 census Jane (age 73), Fund Holder, was the unmarried head of household in Dorset, England.^[5]

Jane's death (age 76) was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1862 in the Shaftesbury district, Dorset.^[6] She was buried at St Nicholas' Church, Ashmore, Dorset, where her father and brother George had been Rectors.^{[7] [8]} A tablet in the church commemorates Jane and her mother, Also in memory of Jane, their only daughter. She died November 30th, 1862, age 76 years.^[9]
