Leslie was born about 1923, based on census data. He is the son of Kennie Chisholm and Mable McKenzie. In the 1931 census Leslie (age 8) was the son of Kenneth Chisholm in Acadia, Alberta, Canada.^[1]

Leslie died on 28 February 1997 and was buried in Queen's Park Cemetery and Mausoleum, Calgary, Calgary Census Division, Alberta, Canada.^[2] Leslie was in an obituary on 8 March 1997 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
