Biography
Alfred was born on the 11th March 1890 based on the 1939 National Register 1890. He was the son of Leathley Chater (1858 - 1931) and Jessie (Bedwell) Chater (~1864 - 1949). His birth was registered in Brentford, Middlesex, England in 1890.[1]
In the 1891 census Alfred (age 1) was the grandson of Francis A Bedwell in Curre, West Parade, Holy Trinity and St Mary, Hull, Yorkshire & Yorkshire (East Riding), England.[2]
