Biography

Alfred was born in 1891. He was the son of Benjamin Chamberlain and Mary Fraser.

He married Muriel Grawbarger in 1912 in Sudbury, Ontario.^[1]

At the time of his death, he was living in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. He and Muriel had separated. He chose to work rather than attend his son Bob’s wedding. Unfortunately, he was killed in a railway accident on June 22, 1941, in Armstrong, Ontario.^[2]

Alfred’s remains were returned to Winnipeg, where he was buried in Saint James Anglican Cemetery.^[3]
