Margaret Eileen Castle was born on 14 August 1920 in New Zealand, daughter of Robert Castle (1878–1956) and Isabella Isobel Andrew (1898–1955).[1]
Margaret had a sister, Phylis Gwendoline Castle (18 November 1918 – 19 May 1979).
Margaret (25) married Sydney Edward Smith (23) (born on 29 December 1922 in Ponsonby, Auckland, New Zealand; son of Sydney Henry Smith and Alice Amelia (Webster) Creighton) on 25 February 1946 in New Zealand.[2]
Margaret died on 3 July 2008 in New Zealand, aged 87.[3]
