BARBARA JEAN BUNN SANDSTROM
BARBARA JEAN BUNN was born on September 21, 1922, at Portland, Multnomah, Oregon. She was the daughter of SUSIE MAY HALL and CLEVELAND EARL BUNN
On 7 November 1943, in Smith Memorial Presbyterian Church, Oregon, she married CLIFFORD ERNST SANDSTROM born on 2 November 1920, at Tacoma, Pierce, Washington. He was the son of CLARA E SCHUBBE and CARL D SANDSTROM. He died in Multnomah, Oregon on 15 June 2003.
They had three sons, two of which are living. The third son was
ERIC ALLEN SANDSTROM

Barbara Jean Sandstrom died on December 23, 2010, in Portland, Oregon at the age of 88. Barbara was born on September 21, 1922, in Portland, Oregon to Cleveland and Sue (Hall) Bunn.
Barbara graduated from Gresham High School in 1940 and then attended Oregon State University. She was a teller at several banks including Ben Franklin Savings and Loan for many years and co-owner of Sandstrom Turkey Hatchery.
Barbara married Clifford Sandstrom on November 7, 1943, at Smith Memorial Presbyterian Church. Clifford preceded her in death on June 15, 2003.
Barbara lived in Fairview, Oregon until 1950 when she, Cliff, and her children moved to Sandy, Oregon. She was involved in many church activities at Smith Memorial Presbyterian Church, especially in the Mariners Group.
Barbara helped form the Women's Aglow program in the State of Oregon where she was a board member of the Portland Chapter. She was also a member of the Sandy Ridge Women's Association and Eastern Star.
Survivors include her sons,
Jon Sandstrom of Sandy, Oregon
Carl Sandstrom, of Council, Idaho
six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by a son
Eric Allan Sandstrom.
Donations may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Smith Memorial Presbyterian Church located at 2420 NE Fairview Ave. in Fairview, Oregon.
