I'd like to think that the DNA connection descendants of James Henderson and Amelia Millar have that can be tracked back to what looks to be a common denominator of Robert Buchanan and Janet Monteath (Amelia's parents), just might be a great crack in my Amelia Millar brickwall (see category on this profile).
My favoured candidate on where exactly the connection is would have to be this family, given the use of Amelia in the names, which doesn't seem to be in other Buchanan lines from Robert / Janet.
However research to date is making it seem rather unlikely we'll ever be able to prove this via DNA, the few documented lines seem to have died out, or simply vanished.
