Biography

Eva L. Brownfield was born about 1820 in Missouri, United States. Her parents were Henry E. and Caroline Brownfield.[1][2]

In the 1930 United States census, Eva was living with her parents and brother Marian in Pilot Grove, Cooper, Missouri.[1] (Note that the census clearly does not indicate that there are other children living with Henry and Caroline at this time, other than Eva and Marian. The basis for all her other siblings listed in the present Wikitree profile is not known.)

In the 1940 United States census, Eva was still living with her parents in Pilot Grove, Missouri.[2]

According to the original profile entry, Eva married Derald Jensen in 1942 in Arizona, and Van Max Whitaker in 1955 in Utah. No source was provided for these marriages; however Van Whitaker's obituary indicates he married Eva B. Jensen in 1955.

According to the original profile entry, Eva died on 28 Dec 2002 in Sedalia, Missouri. No source was provided. Her gravestone marker with Van Max Whitaker confirms this date.[3] However, as Van and Eva were living in Utah, and she is buried with him in Utah, it is not clear what is the basis for her death in Sedalia, Missouri.
