Edward Allen Brotherton was born in 1856 [1] in Ardwick Green, Manchester, Lancashire, England, the son of Theophilus Brotherton and Sarah O'Donnell. [2]
He was baptised on 9 July 1856 in Manchester Cathedral, Lancashire.[2]
In 1871 Edward was living with his parents and 5 siblings in Moss Side, Lancashire. [3]
He married Mary Jane Brookes on 24 June 1882 in Manchester. [4]
He passed away in 1930.
