Biography
Annie was born in 1861, the daughter of Charles Broomfield and Elizabeth Thrum. [1]
In 1882, Annie Eliza Broomfield married Henry Angwin in the Colony of Victoria.[2]
She passed away in 1941, aged 80.[3] ] “Deaths. Angwin.-On June 11 (suddenly) at the residence of her daughter (Mrs. A. Babbage) Annie Eliza relict of the late Henry Angwin and loved mother of Florence E. (Mrs. A.Babbage), Harry (deceased), Charles, Clem, and Ralph, and loved mother -in-law of Alf, grandmother of Elsie, Harry and Gwen.” [The Argus, 12 June 1941]
