Robert McDonald and Catherine Bremner were named as the parents of Mary McDonald who was born at Coghill, in the parish of Watten, about 1806 and baptised in Watten on 21 March 1806.[1]
In 1841 Catherine Bremner was living in Gersay, Watten, Caithness, with her daughter Mary McDonald and grandson John McKid.[2]
