Peter was born about 1856 in Alloa, Clackmannanshire, Scotland to parents Ebenezer Breingan and Margaret Wright.[1][2] He married Margaret "Maggie" Gray on August 17th, 1897 in Stirling, Stirlingshire, Scotland.[3] They had three children together:

He passed away in October 1920 in South Stoneham, Hampshire, England.[4]
