Bernice Brant, the daughter of Arthur Brant (1885-1960) and Dorothy May (Smart) Brant (abt.1893-1956), was born on April 18, 1919. She married electrician James Naylor (b. Cardinal ca 1901, son of George Naylor and Louise Welsh) on July 3, 1938, in Richmond Township, Lennox and Addington Counties, Ontario.[1] They lived in Hamilton, Ontario. Bernice Naylor was struck by a motor vehicle, and died on Jan. 3, 1941 at Belleville General Hospital, Ontario. She was buried on the 5th at All Saints Anglican Church Cemetery in the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, Hastings County, Ontario.
The birth date of April 18, 1919 stated on Bernice's death certificate (posted on her cited Find a Grave memorial) is questionable when compared with the birth date of June 11, 1919 literally carved in stone on the memorial of her sister Amanda V. (Brant) Woodcock (1919-1973) (see image posted on her Find a Grave memorial).
