Biography

Alfred Leonard Bradshaw was born on 19 January 1867 in Richmond, Victoria, Australia, the seventh son of Sarah Ann Bradshaw and Samuel Johnson Bradshaw.^[1][2]

He was a ledger keeper at Messrs. Beath Schiess and Co.^[3]

He married Fanny Louisa Glazier on 13 October 1891 in Victoria.^[2][4][5] Their children were:

• Alfred Leonard Bradshaw (1892–1892)^[6]
• Norman James Bradshaw (1894–1961)^[7]
• Dorothy Amy Bradshaw (1896–1965)^[8]
• Hazel Ethel Bradshaw (1901–1962)^[9]

Alfred died on 18 July 1910 in Melbourne East, Victoria, aged 43, the result of a disastrous double-passenger train collision at Richmond Station.^{[2][3][10][11]}
