Hi Suzy! if you mean from the connection finder, a "degree" is simply a connection between two people (parent and child, siblings, spouses) in a chain that can connect you and Louis. It doesn't necessarily mean you two are related by blood (in this case it seems you are though!)

Here is your connection through blood and marriages: https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:Connection&action=connect&person1Name=Bourbon-106&person2Name=Young-32750&relation=0&ignoreIds= (this is only 23 degrees but goes through several bloodlines)

Here is your purely blood relationship: https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:Connection&action=connect&person1Name=Bourbon-106&person2Name=Young-32750&relation=2&ignoreIds= (this is 32 degrees/pure descending generations)

How are you handling other children of Louis, who were legitamized? e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis,_Count_of_Vermandois

Per Wikipedia, his 2nd marriage was to Françoise d'Aubigné, Marquise de Maintenon

(m. 1683). Any reason she is left off here?

Bourbon-170 and Bourbon-106 appear to represent the same person because: Accidental duplication.
