Benjamin was born in 1871. He was the son of Amos Bossert and Mary Mowrey. He passed away in 1948. He lived most of his life with his two sisters, Emma and Minerva. He worked as a clerk and draftsman. At one point, he declared himself as a civil engineer but I suspect that he was not degreed and assisted in engineering as a part of his draftsman role.
His death was due to shock after an accident where he fell asleep while smoking a pipe and caught on fire. He had burns all over his body.
