Flowers in delicate tones of blue and pink adorned St Mark's Church, Burke road Camberwell, on Saturday morning, when the marriage was celebrated of Yootha Isabel, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs P.A. Borissow of 6 Marquis Street, Ashburton, to William Reginald Fairbairn, only son of Mr and Mrs William Macrow of 4 Gascoyne Street, Camberwell.

A veil of antique Limerick lace fell over the magnolia satin robe worn by the bride which was cut on stately flowing lines with a softly draped cowl neck and long tightly fitting sleeves. A halo of orange blossom confined the lovely lace which was lent by the bridegroom's sister (Mrs V. Ransford) and a sheaf of water lilies gave added beauty.

Miss Gwenyth Muriel Borissow attended her sister as maid of honour wearing a frock of pink flowered taffeta with a little train sweeping out frrom the rustling skirt. Her hat was of plain pink taffeta and she carried an armful ofdelphiniums. The bride was then given away by her father and the ceremony was performed by the Rev J. A. Schofield. Mr Vernon Ransford was best man. Wedding luncheon was served at the Hotel Windsor - only members of the two families being present.
