Biography

This profile is part of the Watten, Caithness One Place Study.

In 1841 Helen Bonnell was working as a servant on the farm of Euphemia Alexander in Quoybrae, in the parish of Watten, Caithness. Two other servants, Alexander Mowat and Betty Murray, were also recorded on the census return, alongside three of Euphemia's sons.[1]
