Elizabeth was born on the 6th August 1838 in Edinburgh, Scotland. She was the daughter of Alexander Gillies Blaikley (1816 - 1903) and Jane (Pratt) Blaikley (~1818 - 1840). [1]
Elizabeth's marriage to Thomas Purves (~1840 - ) was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1861 in the Kensington district, Middlesex.[2]
