Biography
George Lennie was born on 28 August 1879[1] at Oamaru, Otago, New Zealand, and his birth was registered in the third quarter at Oamaru[2]. He was one of twin sons born to Henry John Bignell and Jessie McArthur Lennie.
George Bignell died young.
He died six days later on 3 September 1879[3]. He was buried on 4 September at Oamaru Old Cemetery, Block 24, Plot 1, 2[4][5].
