Marriage
Caleb Bennett and Eliza Turfery were married after banns at St Kenelm's, Enstone, Oxfordshire on 23rd June 1855.[3] They were bachelor and spinster, both 23 years old and both living in Church Enstone at the time. Caleb was a mason and the son of Edward Bennett who was a shoemaker. Eliza was the daughter of James Turfery who was a labourer. Both signed their own name on the register and the witnesses to the marriage were John Bennett and Ann Bennett.[4]
