Asa was married to his second wife, Ruth Hanford, on 19 Dec 1830 by Henry Benedict.
Life
In the 1810 census, there were 3 boys and a girl age 10-15, and they were living in Norfolk. The girl cannot be Asa and Hannah's daughter since they married in 1804, so it must be another relative, servant or a child from an earlier, unnamed marriage.[3]
In the 1820 census Asa was still in Norwalk with 5 children. Harriet (1st) and Alfred had died.[4]
Death and Burial
Asa died on 16 Feb 1850 (aged 68) and was buried in High Street Cemetery, Brockport, Monroe County, New York.[5]
